The Royal Delft Heritage Kaststel is a hand-painted three-piece ensemble rooted in a centuries-old Dutch interior tradition. During the late seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, affluent households displayed matched ceramic groupings atop cupboards and mantel hoods as symbols of taste and prosperity. Inspired by highly valued imported Chinese porcelain, Delft potters began creating their own coordinated arrangements — typically a central lidded jar flanked by two vases — known as a kaststel.

Decorated entirely in classic Delft Blue, this set showcases layered cobalt brushwork and elegant floral compositions applied by Royal Delft artisans. The harmonious proportions and balanced symmetry echo the decorative customs of the Dutch Golden Age, while the refined detailing gives the ensemble a timeless presence. Both a historical homage and a striking centrepiece, it brings authentic heritage and enduring craftsmanship into the modern interior.

Hand-painted in The Netherlands.

Consists of:
2 x Vases: 7 × 7 × 15 cm; 220g each

Handpainted Disclaimer

Each piece is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans. Subtle variations in colour, brushstroke, detailing, or glaze may occur and are inherent to the hand-painting process. These differences are considered a defining characteristic of authentic craftsmanship, not defects.

Note for Royal Delft Pieces: Artists are also given the creative freedom to introduce small details or interpretive elements within traditional motifs. These individual touches reflect the painter’s hand and experience, making every piece uniquely its own.
