Elevate your interior with “Vicky Lee,” a distinctive Delft blue candlestick from the Foudamour collection, lovingly created by the master painters of Heinen Delfts Blauw. Entirely hand-made and hand-painted, each candlestick in this collection is a one-of-a-kind piece, designed to express its own personality and emotional depth.

Conceived by artist Victor de Bie, the Foudamour collection is inspired by the French phrase “Fou d’amour”—meaning “crazy for love.” Victor set out to create meaningful, decorative gifts that embody powerful human character traits. Often referred to as “Love Fools,” these light bearers radiate peace and quiet strength, with each design based on people from Victor’s own life.

“Vicky Lee” represents the qualities of righteousness and resourcefulness. More than a candlestick, it serves as a symbolic gesture of care and intention. As Victor explains, “When you burn a candle for someone, you also think about what this person needs. That is also the idea behind my Foudamour collection.” When the candle is lit, the wish comes to life—making Vicky Lee a meaningful companion for yourself or a thoughtful gift for someone who could use these qualities in their life right now.

*Heinen Delfts Blauw*

Founded in 1975, Heinen Delfts Blauw represents a modern interpretation of Delftware, rooted in Dutch heritage but reimagined for contemporary living. Rather than replicating historic patterns, Heinen focuses on adapting traditional Delft motifs into new forms, scales, and compositions that feel relevant to modern interiors.

Each piece is hand-painted in the Netherlands using established Delft techniques, while the designs themselves are guided by a contemporary design vision. The result is Delftware that retains the recognisable language of blue-and-white tradition, yet feels lighter, cleaner, and more versatile in today’s spaces.

Heinen Delfts Blauw pieces celebrate the balance between tradition and modernity — where heritage informs design, but does not constrain it.

Handpainted Disclaimer

Each piece is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans. Subtle variations in colour, brushstroke, detailing, or glaze may occur and are inherent to the hand-painting process. These differences are considered a defining characteristic of authentic craftsmanship, not defects.

Note for Royal Delft Pieces: Artists are also given the creative freedom to introduce small details or interpretive elements within traditional motifs. These individual touches reflect the painter’s hand and experience, making every piece uniquely its own.
